Doorways on just about any house in Santa Fe are very photogenic. There's just something about them. I noticed this doorway while on a stroll through a pretty neighborhood, and it inspired me to imagine a portal punctuated with some additional vegetation and a pueblo-style ladder. This painting is one of my few acrylics.
